Windows (Native)

After purchasing jxscout you will receive a link to jxscout.app/download?license=<your_license> where you can download the premium version of jxscout CLI and the VSCode extension. Follow the instructions or video below to setup jxscout on your machine.

1. Make sure you have bun installed and it can be executed in your shell. Check bun's official docs for how to install it.

2. Download and install the jxscout plugin for your preferred proxy:

   • Burp Suite Plugin
   • Caido Plugin

3. From your premium download link, download the jxscout pro CLI for your operating system and architecture.

4. From your premium download link, download the VSCode pro extension. Install it on VSCode or Cursor.

Migrating from the Open Source version

The jxscout premium version adds many features that are not compatible with the open source version of jxscout. For this reason, you should backup your open source version projects and config files:

$ mv ~/.jxscout ~/.jxscout-os-backup
$ mv ~/jxscout ~/jxscout-os-backup

Both the CLI and the VSCode extension need to be reinstalled in order to get all the pro features!
